Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Golf Green Reading Simulator (the "Site") operated by Suree Golf Lab ("we", "us", or "our"), available at https://golf.suree.org. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Nature of Service

The Site provides an interactive, browser-based golf putting simulation designed for educational and recreational purposes. It is intended to help golfers of all skill levels develop a conceptual understanding of green reading, slope physics, and pace control.

The Site is NOT a substitute for professional golf coaching, instruction, or advice. Nothing on the Site should be construed as professional instruction, certified coaching, or sports medicine guidance. If you seek personalised coaching, please consult a PGA-certified golf professional.

Physics Model Disclaimer

The simulation uses mathematical models of ball-on-slope physics, including a fourth-order Runge-Kutta numerical integrator, Stimpmeter-based rolling resistance coefficients, and a simplified cup-capture model. These models are informed by peer-reviewed academic literature and are designed to be instructionally useful.

However, all physical models are simplifications of reality. The simulation does not account for every variable that affects a real putt, including but not limited to: green surface texture and grain direction, wind, temperature and humidity effects on ball and turf, ball imperfections, spike marks, dew, and the subtle variations between individual putting strokes.

Results produced by the simulator are approximate and illustrative. They should not be used as definitive predictions of how a specific putt will behave on a real green. Use the simulator as a conceptual learning tool, not as a prescriptive playbook for on-course decisions.

Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, text, graphics, and educational materials on the Site are the property of Suree Golf Lab or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. "Suree Golf Lab" and related marks are the property of Suree Golf Lab.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any part of the Site without our prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law (such as fair use for personal, non-commercial study).

User Conduct

You agree to use the Site for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes only. You must not:

Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Site beyond what is publicly available in our open-source repositories.

Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with the Site in a manner that places excessive load on our servers.

Use the Site to develop competing commercial products without our written consent.

Attempt to circumvent any security or access controls on the Site.

Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Suree Golf Lab and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site — including any physical or other harm arising from attempting to replicate simulated putting strategies on a golf course.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to external websites or resources for informational purposes, including academic papers and golf-related resources. These links do not constitute an endorsement by us of those websites or their content.

We have no control over the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites and accept no responsibility for them. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

Modifications to the Site and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site — or any part of it — at any time, with or without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page.

Your continued use of the Site after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction, as required by applicable law.
